Syncing posts added via "channel datasource"?

Folks;
I've got a channel datasource configured for my channel on zotum.net to import posts coming from my external weblog. And I got a clone of my channel on hub.netzgemeinde.eu. Expectation would be that, given the clone works, these posts are also cloned from zotum.net to the other system. But that doesn't seem to happen. Any idea to debug what's going on? Or is it not supposed to work like that at all...?

@Kristian in this case i think the sync will only work if the data source is configured to send the posts with the channel as author.

@Mario Vavti As far as I see, this is how it's been set up here.... was one of my earlier ideas as well, but doesn't seem to change much.
